PRE ORDER : CHAD KOEPLINGER: PERSISTENT NOW LARGE BOOK
THIS IS A PRE ORDER , THE BOOK WILL BE AVAILABLE IN JUNE
When most people keep a diary, they usually start writing things down each day: memories, quotes, inspirations, etc. Chad Koeplinger is not like most people, so when he decided to keep a journal for 2024, he chose to paint all-new sheets of flash each and every day. No matter where he was or what circumstance he found himself in, Koeplinger sat down and painted at least one entirely original sheet of flash. He never faltered in his production of this year-long artistic expression, and the result is, to put it bluntly, astounding.
From one day to the next, Koeplinger’s styles and color studies vary exponentially. And while there are continuous thematic elements throughout the work, each sheet has its own identity and can stand alone as a singular piece of art in and of itself. The dedication it took to pursue and finish this project is a testament to Chad’s durability and boundless creativity as an artist.
The larger version (11” x 16”) is intended to be a collector’s edition, but the choice of how the collector wants to use it is completely up to them. The book would be perfectly at home displayed on a bookshelf, but Koeplinger wanted to encourage artists to remove the pages. With this concept in mind, we printed the larger version with distinct cut-out lines so that the reader can choose to use each individual page as reference material, or, remove them with the intention of hanging them as pieces of art.
For shop owners:
This is just like buying 370 new sheets of flash for your shop in one go! Usually buying a set of 5-10 sheets would run close to the price of the book, so we tossed in the extra 360 sheets just to make sure you are covered. These sheets are printed on a super thick + weighty paper and are the exact size that Chad painted them. This true-to-life edition of the book is not to be missed and only available while supplies last.
